When and Where are Classes held?

Private zoom or classes in yoga, mindfulness and meditation are available for ages preschool-adults and the following open to the public classes are offered:

*Offering an Introduction to MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) 6 week course Wednesday evenings in 2024. March 6, 13, 20, 27 and April 3 & 10th. *Every Thursday 9am ZOOM Gentle Mindful Yoga with guided meditation: 70 minutes. if interested, please email RelaxIntoMeditation@gmail.com for details on links and password

*Meditation: I am so pleased to be a part of the inspirational facilitator team hosting guided meditation sessions at the Community Mindfulness Project, 501c3, offering free donation based mindfulness meditation sessions with rotating facilitators via Zoom & in person throughout 2022. No experience is necessary! After a brief intro to the meditation topic of the day, there is a 20-30 minute guided practice with time afterwards for discussion, Q & A, etc. www.CommunityMindfulnessProject.org

*"Mindfulness in the Classroom” - teacher training workshops to explore and experience meditation, relaxation exercises and mindfulness… and how teachers can incorporate it into their curriculum through play in the classroom setting. Partially didactic: explore mindfulness of Emotions, Thoughts, and the Physical Body as well as exercises drawn from MBSR… and part fun as we experience mindful Movement together and do a few crafts like a Mind Jar snow globe. Ends with a restorative, guided meditation for stress reduction.

*Mindful Parenting: Tips and tools for incorporating our mindfulness practice into our parenting, and keeping ourselves grounded in the present moment. Learn how to surf the waves of parenthood and help your kids build essential life skills. This is as much about your well-being as theirs!

*Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) - the official 8 week program from UMASS Medical School created by Jon Kabat-Zinn (or try the abbreviated 6 week intro to MBSR also offered)

*Intro to Mindfulness & Meditation - Explore different styles of practice, both formal and informal: Mindfulness meditation, walking meditation, reclined body scan meditation & informal mindfulness practice in everyday life

*Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction in the Workplace - Explore ideas for mindful communication, breaking habitual stress responses and and increased self-awareness of emotional reactivity at work.  Includes mindfulness meditation practice.

*Yoga & Stress Reduction: Explore the physiology and psychology of stress and the nervous system and how the use of mindfulness practices such as meditation and mindful yoga give us the tools to more skillfully manage our stressors. Includes meditation and gentle yoga practice

*Stress Buster Workshop: The physiology and psychology of Stress & mindful tools for coping, followed by deep relaxation and mindfulness meditation
